Partial and Incomplete Subscriptions

Improving WiFi for the Vibe Live Stream

Here are four tricks that might help you increase your WiFi speeds and allow for better streaming – and note, all WiFi routers are different, so check your router’s manual for more detailed information!

  1. If you are working out in an area not immediately adjacent to your primary wifi router, try either moving your workout closer to your primary wifi router or, if you are using a range extender try relocating it. Sometimes a simple move can make all the difference!
  2. If your wifi router supports it, try enabling prioritization (also known as Quality of Service or QoS).  This process tells the router which devices have priority over the others and moves its bandwidth usage to the front of the line, so to speak
  3. Consider a “dedicated” network – most wifi routers today have 2.4-gigahertz and 5-gigahertz bands that you can connect to, as well as guest network(s). If you have kids or other people/devices drawing a lot of bandwidth, you can have those on one network and your devices on the other.
  4. Pick uncrowded channels; think of your wifi spectrum as a loaf of bread and each channel is a slice. If other wifi routers around you are all on the same channel (slice of bread) then there is less to share – but if you move to a channel that is not crowded you get more (maybe all) of that slice for yourself!

Altering Your Vibe Live Display Name

You may have noticed that Vibe Live has added a new feature to the Live sessions – Online Users!  You may have also noticed that different subscribers have different display names. If you want your display name to be something other than what is currently showing, click HERE to learn how.

Vibe Live Chat – Allow Cookies

If you find that the Chat option on the Vibe Live Class page is not available, you may need to allow cookies for Vimeo.com. Follow the steps below to adjust the cookies for the Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. Information for Macs and Safari coming soon.

GOOGLE CHROME

  1. On your computer, open Chrome
  2. At the top right, click More More and then then Settings
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced
  4. Under ‘Privacy and security‘, click Site Settings and then then Cookies
  5. Next to ‘Block‘, ‘Clear on exit‘ or ‘Allow‘, select Add
  6. Enter the web address www.vimeo.com 
  7. Select Add

MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER

  1. Go to the settings icon
  2. Go to Internet Options
  3. Click on the Privacy tab
  4. Click on Sites under Settings
  5. Enter www.vimeo.com in the Address of Website box
  6. Click Allow
  7. Click OK twice

I’ve joined! How do I sign in for the class?

Welcome and YAY! Log onto www.experiencevibefitness.com. First, Sign In with your login and password, next click Take a Class, Virtual Studio and then click Livestream from the drop down menu. Select the class you want to take the grid on the page and make sure to push play on the video. Class will begin promptly at start time, so please consider connecting 5-10 minutes prior to start.

How should I prepare for class? 

In order to maximize your ability for movement, make sure you have space to move around. A full water bottle is essential as you will be dancing up a storm! And of course, proper footwear (cross trainer or dance sneakers), as well as athletic clothing and a towel are important too! Other classes such as Vibe Barre, Core30 and Deep Stretch 30 use a Yoga mat, which can be helpful but not mandatory.

Why can’t I watch a recorded class? 

Due to strict laws regarding playback of copyrighted original music by original artists, we are not legally able to record live class sessions for on demand usage. Get your workout in every week with us! Let us know when you would like to see another class on the schedule.

Where can I take VIBE classes in person? 

Check out our Class Locator at https://experiencevibefitness.com/vibe/class-locator/. Live classes are currently slow to return and schedules are changing regularly; we are currently not listing live class on our site at this time.
